The ILP’s Story and What it Tells Us

The story of the Independent Labour Party and what it teaches us will be under discussion in Wakefield on Saturday 9 May.

Addressed by the ILP’s own Barry Winter, the meeting will look at the origins of the ILP, its early years and the lessons of its history for the left today.

Barry will be joined on the speakers’ panel by Iain Dalton of the Socialist Party, author of The Battle of Leeds, and the discussion will be chaired by Kitty Rees.
