Summer and autumn 2022 will be remembered as a time when many union struggles took place. But will they coalesce into a movement and win significant gains?
That’s the question at the heart of the latest workshop from the Institute of Working Class Education network, to be held online on at 5pm on Thursday 8 September.
‘Educate, agitate, organise’ is the age-old slogan of the Labour movement, so at this time of heightened union agitation and intense organisation, what contribution can independent working class education make?
The meeting will be addressed by Colin Waugh, author of Plebs: The Lost Legacy of Independent Working-Class Education, and Dave Berry, while there will be much time for discussion and audience contributions.
