The Ella Baker School of Organising has put together a seminar to look at how unions have gained and lost power over the last 70 years and the implications this has for prospects of a union resurgence.
Taking a historical perspective, the session will explore power and strategy in the UK union movement, asking what we can learn from the past to inform strategies today.
The organisers intend it to be the first in a series exploring these issues with the idea that union members can apply some of their learning to their current activities and campaigns.
