‘Unleashing Community Power’, the Co-operative Party’s local government conference, will offer radical and practical examples of building transformational change from the bottom up.

The party’s fourth annual local government conference will be held on Saturday 8 June and will include interactive masterclasses, discussions, ‘spotlight’ sessions and keynote addresses across a wide range of subjects including:

  • Newly elected! How to unleash power across your community
  • An education for every child
  • Tackling crime – a community approach
  • Community organising for food justice
  • Tackling the climate emergency: what co-operators and their communities can do

Costing just £10, the event is open to both members and non-members, while confirmed guest speakers include:
