The meeting will commemorate an historic event in Labour history when Keir Hardie gathered with members of local parties and committed individuals for the inaugural conference of the ILP on 13 January 1893.

Barry Winter, the ILP’s former general secretary and editor of its paper, Labour Leader, will examine what the Labour movement of today can learn from ILP’s political journey over the last 120 years.

The meeting will be held on Sunday 13th January 8pm to 9.15pm at Dronfield Contact Club, Snape Hill Lane, Dronfield S18 2GJ.

The meeting is open to any member of the Labour and Co-operative parties, and to others by invitation.
