About Democratic Socialist
Democratic Socialist is the bulletin of the ILP Friends' Network, a loose organisation of democratic socialists who wish to discuss ideas and learn from each other as a means of creating a living political community. See Introduction to the ILP for further information. It is published three or four times a year by Independent Labour Publications and is sent free to all Friends' Network subscribers and ILP members. The views expressed in the articles are those of the authors and do not necessarily represent the policy or perspectives of the ILP, its National Administrative Council, its branches or its members. Links to articles will change from time to time, so come back in a while if you want to read more. Better still, subscribe to the Friends' Network and get the whole lot sent to you on paper!
