Can Labour win in England?

England, Labour and the notion of a progressive patriotism will be under scrutiny at a series of high-profle seminars organised by Winchester University’s Centre for English Identity and Politics.

England flagThe three panel discussions, involving a range of Labour politicians, academics and writers, will be held once a month at the House of Commons from February to April. Those lined up to take part include Labour MP Lisa Nandy on Does England Matter?, Guardian journalist John Harris on What sort of Labour can win England? and singer Billy Bragg on A Progressive Patriotism?
